Many bloggers across the web want to know more about how to write for keywords and what tools you should use. In this blog post, I cover keyword writing using Rank Math.
What is keyword writing?
Answer: How often does the word that appears in the content? The ratio is always hard to figure out.
You want to use a tool that measures word count.
My favorite word counter and grammar checker is Grammarly. Besides using this grammar tool, I use the Rank Math SEO WordPress plugin.
PublishPress Checklist
But if you want to try a WordPress plugin, go for the PublishPress Checklist.
My opinion is that you don’t need to have many plugins. Most are not needful, and it can slow down your site.
Rank Math has a great guide to making your content SEO worthy. Let’s face it, SEO content has a higher search count than without it.
How to write for keywords with Rank Math SEO?
01. You start with defining your topic and what you want to write.
02. You start with writing an H1 title, H2, H3, and H4 should be your subtitle.
03. You start by relating your words to the content.
05. You start with the question, how long should the content be?
06. Does my content have outbound links?
07. Does my content have internal links?
08. Does my image have an alt text (that relates) to the keyword?
09. Snippet text must contain the keyword. (Title, link, and meta text)
Learn to stick the numbers and try it out using this S.E.R.P free tool.
If you don’t have Rank Math and want to learn where to place it and how Google sees it.
Check my video about it.
10. Are you using numbers?
11. Are you using sentiment words?
12. Are you using power words?
See the SEO content writing factors by Rank Math.
Sometimes I am confused about it because when does it mark a sentiment word and when a power word. How do I figure it out? Is to type words that I think are good. And tagged them myself, I mean write it down.
Now it’s time to end it. I use another plugin that works well with Rank Math. Easy table of contents plugin.
13. Are you using rich video and images (go for YouTube videos or go for Canva). You can also go for free content such as Pexels or Pixabay.
14. Learn to write your paragraphs and subheadings short but be clear to avoid misunderstanding.
Because that is an SEO ranking factor. No one likes to read content maze topics and hard to get.
Avoid keyword stuffing
Do you know what keyword stuffing is? Keyword stuffing is a part of a black hat SEO. That is a practice that you stuff keywords on every line that gets your site banned from Google.
White hat SEO follows Google’s SEO guidelines and rules to rank its search engine. To know more👉 https://ahrefs.com/blog/white-hat-seo/.
