Introduction: Essential 6 Qualities for Bloggers to Stand Out

Hi Bloggers,

Are you wondering why other blogs are thriving and others are not? If you want to blog, you have certain qualities you have to meet if you want to make it. Bloggers call them qualities for bloggers or writing.

The difference is the level of focus and effort. You can write all day and never reach your blog targets. Nobody wants to waste time and lose their motivation and focus while blogging.

Online work can be dull when you get 0% results. When you see no improvements, then you must consider that you are focused on the wrong thing.

In this blog post, I share 6 qualities you must be focused on while blogging.

Let’s dive in!

Table of Contents (click here to open it).

1. Focus on the reader’s contact points.

You might be thinking, want the heck is a contact point?

It is a place where your ideal reader spends the most time and on which device. For example, most of my readers come from sources: such as YouTube, Google Search, Pinterest, and WordPress reader.

To deliver my blog to them, I have set blogging goals in able to reach the reader. So I searched and learned about keyword writing, and the search signals the search engine needs with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

Furthermore, I use TubeBuddy for the analytical approach for my YouTube channel. Creating thumbnails for YouTube, I use Canva.

With Canva and Invideo, you can create great video pins and picture pins.

That is the contact point of the reader.

2. Focus on S.E.R.P and SEO.

Although there are many paid plugins available to make it stick to your budget. I only cover the free tips that cost many fails and efforts. I use Google Analytics to see how many users visited my blog last month – and think of how to improve my blog even further.

Most traffic is coming from desktop and mobile. The top countries are the U.S.A., India, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

So I write my blog post in a way that delivers the message to them. Informative, clear, applicable, accessible, understandable, and readable.

In those countries, a lot is going on… They might not have the time to read your entire blog post.

So I set up a newsletter to keep my followers updated, to gain new followers, and to make it easy for them.

When you place the subscription bar next to or underneath your content, it will automatically be visible in a way that does not block your site or interfere with your audience’s interest.

This strategy works in favor of your blog. I gained almost 300 to 500 subscribers over time.

3. Focus on helpfulness.

Helpfulness may sound strange, but it is vital to have some blog posts that cover direction tips. From rookie to pro-blogger, it’s always good, and some appreciate your help in offering your tips and stories in the form of a blog post.

At a certain time, a new policy is created, and it is difficult to track it all. You can also focus on the main points of the policy and how it affects your blog.

4. Focus on education.

You can write as much as you want and never get the chance to level up. Do not wait for followers, likes, money, or emails. You must start to educate yourself with schooling or online classes about a topic.

5. Focus on your market/niche.

Some bloggers are writing a whole lot without the truth that readers rely upon. Some bloggers write something about a topic without experience.

Some bloggers write a story all mixed up without a clear point. When you focus on your market and chop it up into little pieces – you can write straight to your niche.

For example, your market is:

  • Video marketing segments into business videos, affordable videos, a video that drives sales.
  • Travel segment into travel light, solo travel, and vacation places.

6. Focus on your point.

Creating the point is always a challenge – you have to read and scope your own works for your reader. The best blog is one that has a logical structure, and it is fun to check out.

Writing a point is a summary, decision, or conclusion. It is for the reader to quickly read your final thought – maybe you agree and allow you to skip text.

Conclusion.

Focusing on your blog and writing quality content demands a whole lot of effort.

There are 6 qualities for bloggers you must have if you want to stand out with your blog. Stick and add slowly more qualities to yourself with education and experience.

And over time, you will write a better blog post.
