1. Have a mission statement.

If you are serious about having a small business and growing a following, without any doubt, you must have a mission statement. That is what a reader expects and it shows that you take them seriously.

You can give your audience some kind of inside look at you also – it provides a professional appearance for your blog.

2. Have an about me page.

An About Me page is the section of your blog that must be clear to any reader who visits your blog. You can combine your mission statement. And encourage the reader to stay on your blog and read even more of your post.

You should inform the reader of the vital parts of you and your blog. That can stimulate the reader to contact you or follow you.

3. Structure a logical navigation menu.

How your audience interacts with your blog depends on how you structure your menu. When you have a menu that readers can easily navigate, it can help enhance your blog’s accessibility.

4. Explain your service (how can your – service solve problems).

Your blog needs to indicate how you can help someone. In this way, you create contact points between you and the potential customer.

What to consider importing into your blog is:

  1. Name your rates.
  2. Your cheap business deals and your expensive ones.
  3. Your e-mail address.
  4. Social media pages.
  5. Business phone number.

Whether you decide to link out to sources, then highlight them with hyperlinks. So that it stands out from your standard content. I use them all the time, including call-to-action buttons and image links.

But the link must support your blog post, and it must be helpful to the reader.

For example, when you write about business then your reader expects you you place links about affiliate marketing and business-related topics.

For example, when you write about travel tips and guides then your reader expects you you place relevant images and links.

6. For whom is your blog? Have a target audience in mind.

Provide clarity to your readers in your titles, slogans, and tags. That can help your rankings and boost your follower count. What many SEO or SEM bloggers forget is SERP writing.

The SERP is how your website appears in Google search. That means that your WordPress blog or website is simply found by the billions of search queries. When you write a SERP, don’t forget to put at least one keyword, and it must flow.

Below is my YouTube video where you can place your SERP. Give the video a like, comment, and follow my channel ๐Ÿ‘.

7. Include your title in the main image in your visuals.

This concept tells the reader what your content is about based on the title in the image, effectively establishing a connection that guides their expectations.

By providing a clear and compelling title, you enhance the reader’s understanding and interest, making it easier for them to engage with the material that follows.

This approach not only aids in comprehension but also sets the tone for the entire piece, allowing the audience to grasp the central theme and context right from the start.

8. Be (always) helpful, friendly, and motivational.

If you want to grow your blog or website, the first thing is to have patience. Not everyone is going to read your entire blog post when you write hatefully towards others. You have to discard your own disappointment, fear, hate, and any kind of personal or family error. (vicious cycle)

When you break that vicious cycle that then you can really learn and foresee your own mistakes and anticipate steering others in the right direction. For most readers, readering is a reason to follow you, so don’t leave the helpful, friendly, and motivational part out.

Conclusion.

Creating a readable blog that attracts a substantial following is a multifaceted endeavor. While owning a blog or website is a commendable start, capturing the interest of your target audience requires strategic thinking and adaptability.

Itโ€™s important to recognize that not every reader will resonate with every topic you cover, which emphasizes the need for a diverse approach to your content.

Ultimately, a successful, readable blog is built through patience, determination, and a willingness to evolve.

By learning from your experiences and embracing feedback, you can position yourself as a trusted authority in your field, making your blog not only enjoyable to read but also a valuable resource for your audience.
