Avoid Burnout: Schedule Your Blog Posts

Written By Bonny Isselt.

Hi web friends,

Schedule your blog posts can be a life changer when it comes to blogging itself and the associated tasks. Based on my personal experience, you get a sense of what awaits you as a fast-publishing blogger. So think twice because you don’t want to hit the road and get burnout.

During your blog career, you are faced with many tests and trials related to your endurance and stamina. It is, therefore, handy to keep, remain, and maintain yourself healthy.

Direct publish.

Do you know what direct publishing is? Publish content directly without thinking.

It is when you hit the publish button without double-checking for writing or SEO errors.

The way I used to blog was write and direct publish, after a while, I was getting tired of my own doings.

The cost of direct publishing.

When I directly publish content, I am failing my blog and have nothing left over. But when I practice scheduled blogging, my personal stats go up before my WordPress stats do.

That dropped my:

  • Patience.
  • Stamina.
  • Sleep.
  • General health.
  • Concentration.
A comparison chart illustrating the differences between direct publishing and scheduled publishing on WordPress, with factors like patience, stamina, concentration, and skills improvement.

So I figured that the better I feel and take my time with WordPress, the better content I write that others want to check out.

Schedule your blog posts.

I recovered with the use of healthy eating and scheduling my writing and publishing.

I have to limit blogging because I don’t want to experience it again. So I set a timetable for myself and it looks like this.

Monday
7:00 am – 2:00 pm
Tuesday
7:00 am – 2:00 pm
Wednesday
7:00 am – 2:00 pm
Thursday
7:00 am – 2:00 pm
Friday
7:00 am – 1:00 pm
Saturday
Closed
Sunday
Closed

Conclusion.

Direct publishing can make you feel tired, and that way is the most challenging method of blogging.

That will destroy your fun in writing. You will get the maximum out of your blog when you schedule it.

Using my blog times can save you time and invest that time in something else. (friends, family, or health).

Note: blogging is more fun when you schedule it. (schedule your blog posts).
