Top 9 Ideas To Keep Visitors Longer On Your Blog

Keep Visitors Longer On Your Blog

It is always a challenge to drive the reader’s interest in your blog and related pages.

The big question is, how do you get the right reader group at all. It’s not easy, and it can sometimes take years for someone to decide to read your story and follow your blog. But there are a few tricks you can apply today.

In this blog, I’ll show you why it’s necessary to consider that. And how to keep visitors longer on your blog.

Table of contents

  1. Your recent pages.
  2. Your most viewed pages.
  3. Your most liked pages.
  4. Your internal links. (related pages)
  5. Your table of contents.
  6. Your categories.
  7. Your offering.
  8. Your contact and subscription page.
  9. Your business videos.

1. Your recent pages.

To lead the reader to your current blog post, it makes sense for you to have a recent page with links that lead to your other blog post. The reader group may be interested in your other written works.

On my blog, I apply that principle, and some blog posts have more activity than others. Remember that WordPress has a free widget that organizes all your blog posts for you.

2. Your most viewed pages.

If you want to interest the reader, then add the most viewed pages to your homepage. You have to make up the blog post cover image and not rush it.

Take your time to get a custom cover. That’s why I use Canva to make good designs.

3. Your most liked pages.

Some readers are curious about the most-read stories. To see the blog post in question as a valuable or inspiring source of information that someone wants to read or link to.

Google likes this organic way of linking because this form can lift your PageRank up.

Think carefully about which links you list as related to your topic. Suppose the reader is interested in doing business online, then you can specify that you have a blog post that matches that.

This creates a kind of bubble around your blog post.

5. Your table of contents.

With a table of contents, you make your blog post insightful. The reader can easily view the content quickly. This creates a short overview so that the reader knows what to expect from your blog post.

You may be thinking of what a table of contents means to you.

I’ll explain that in detail: a table of contents gives your blog post a more professional impression to the reader.

6. Your categories.

It is convenient for the reader to divide a blog into categories. This indicates that you have a broad knowledge of various subjects.

If the reader decides to choose a topic for research or simply for social or business purposes. Then that person can easily find your blog post and possibly link it.

7. Your offering.

It is always a challenge to offer something at the right price to the consumer.

But because of your business ability, you can earn a relationship of trust with potential and related target groups.

This way, you give someone a reason to read every blog post of yours that has to do with their market. And that’s what every blogger wants!

8. Your contact and subscription page.

To notify the reader when you have a new blog post, you need to have a way to make it easy for the reader to follow you. If you want to keep it straightforward. They can follow you on your social media channels also by writing.

In addition, your contact page and your about me page are good ways to recruit more members. Such pages give the reader an insight into your work, the reason, and how someone should contact you.

9. Your business videos.

To radiate professionalism to the business reader, you must offer something that can lead to business success.

With this, you achieve new opportunities for yourself, and you can help someone else better. You gradually become a market leader with a specialism in your field.

I created a video that explains the need for marketing tactics coming from my blog.
