What are the Google SEO Elements?

Most websites are crawled and ranked by Google, so it is good to know what the SEO elements are. And how you can improve your content visibility.

SEO elements mean that a website must have search engine factors and the ability to optimize it further.

So let us get started improving the SEO Score. But before you explore the SEO elements, you can jump to the desired area with my table of contents.

I use the plugin Rank Math to beef up the SEO for my WordPress site. To get this plugin, click on the banner to get it.

1. Meta Tag

Search engines analyze how you appear to them. So to know how to write one, you must know what your current meta tag is. Get started to analyze yours in this meta tag analyzer.

2. Image VS Image Alt

Some SEO writers say that the image alt text is not essential because it is for people with poor sight.

But that is wrong – the Alt tag describes the image, and that is how you can help the Google search engine find your content.

So writing Alt tags is vital for your SEO. For a better understanding of writing Alt tags, see the video.

3. Sitemaps

sitemap is a file where you provide data about the pages, videos, and other files on your site and the relationships between them.

Search engines like Google read this file to crawl your site more efficiently.

sitemap tells Google which pages and files you think are acceptable for your site and provides valuable information about these files.

For example, when the page was last updated and any alternate language versions of the page.

You can use a sitemap to provide information about specific types of content on your pages, including videoimage, and news content.

When writing content, you have to include a link-building strategy. Or something that can boost your page authority. Well, that being said, you can install plugins that support that.

Such as Rank Math SEO, but if you can’t install plugins. Then you must have at least 1 external and 1 internal link.

5. Writing snippet text

The first appearance that Google sees is how your content is displayed.

The structure of snippet text:

  1. Title.
  2. Permalink
  3. Description.

6. Using numbers in your title

7. Word count

Since Google does not tell the world how its algorithm works, webmasters are forced to rely on gut, experience, and research to understand the mysteries behind Google Search.

There have been many studies that have shown that content length and higher rankings have a positive correlation. Maybe Google prefers pages with more content, or the long-form content allows you to explain the topic better.

Whatever the reason, your website rankings should improve once you start including long-form content.

In this test, Rank Math scores your content based on its length. Here is a simple reference guide to remember.

  • More than 2500 words: 100% score
  • 2000-2500 words: 70% score
  • 1500-2000 words: 60% score
  • 1000-1500 words: 40% score
  • 600-1000 words: 20% score
  • Below 600 words: 0% score
